Join the Club →The LBI Athletic Club exists to unite the Long Beach Island community through the power of movement. Founded by four local runners and athletes who call LBI home, we create a welcoming space where every islander—whether beginner, weekend warrior, or seasoned competitor—can pursue their personal fitness goals while strengthening the bonds that make our community special.
We champion accessible, year-round training in running, sports, and wellness; we celebrate effort, resilience, and island pride; and we believe that when we train together on these shores, we become healthier, happier, and more connected neighbors.
What started as informal runs through the summer, fall, and winter quickly grew into something bigger. Four friends who fell in love with LBI and with each other's company on early morning miles noticed a gap: no year-round, inclusive athletic community on the island.
So they built one. In 2025, the LBI Athletic Club was born — not for the PRs, not for the podiums, but for the post-run coffee and the people you share the miles with.
Run, walk, or roll. All paces welcome. No one left behind.
